So Geico did nothing to help me out. I'll be switching insurance shortly and purchasing a magnetic sign advertising the 'geicocrap.com' website and it will go on my car with me where ever I go and more people can read about these issues.

Geico, guess what, you're going to lose business because of me. Kiss my $800/yr goodbye, as well as the innumerable number of folks who will see the magnetic sign on my car and come to this website.

And get the F**K out of my hometown of Buffalo, NY and take your shit back to DC with the rest of the scum down there.

So last month I moved from the state of Virginia to New York and updated my address and policy on Geico's website. After going through the standard forms and updating my coverages I thought everything was just great.

Fast forward three weeks to today and I took my car in to get a chip repaired in the windshield of my car at a local car dealership. While they were trying to repair the chip the machine they used to do it ended up creating a larger crack which necessitated a complete replacement of the windshield. This was not the fault of the windshield repairer as sometimes these things happen. So I called up Geico to file a claim and have the glass replaced. In New York state you can obtain full glass coverage through any and every automobile insurance agency. However, full glass coverage is not offered in the state of Virginia. GEICO DOES NOT MAKE IT CLEAR WHEN YOU TRANSFER SERVICE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT FOR A MEASLEY $3 EXTRA DOLLARS FOR 6 MONTHS OF COVERAGE YOU CAN ALSO OBTAIN FULL GLASS COVERAGE IN NEW YORK. It would be nice if they would at least look out for their customers and notify them of this nice policy coverage when people switch from a state that does not offer it, to a state that does. I'm sure that if I had called in and spoke with a representative that they would have advised me on making the change since the cost was so little.

Long story short I was livid and called up their customer service department and requested to speak with a supervisor. The person on the phone (did not get their name) said none were currently available and took down my number and told me I would be contacted within 1 hour. The call from a supervisor never came. So I called back again and spoke with another customer service rep who told me they would be transfering me to their 'Claims Dispute Department'. Another lie. That POS lying rep simply transfered me back to the standard glass claims department.

The last rep I spoke with took down my information and told me he would contact me within 48 hours and that they would review my claim to see if they could make an adjustment to cover the glass repair. At this point I'm still waiting for a call back (just got off the phone an hour ago) but who knows if that was another lie on their part. The rep who told me he would called back is named John Finch. He seemed helpful but I'll post back later and let everyone know whether or not he is a lying sack of shit like the rest of the folks who work there.

F**K GEICO. They do not look after local communities and I am sickened by the fact they have invaded my hometown and put up a giant call center and computer datacenter. Buffalo, NY does not need scum companies like this in our area. Geico needs to get the F**K out and keep their offices down in the Washington, DC area where the rest of the money grubbing co*ksucking **sholes live.
